I am posting this so Claudia will never forget it. I hope our blog viewers fall in love the way she did when she first watched this.
Long Live Youtube
Yes, as reported by Claudia we will henceforth focus on posting wonderful videos for our personal viewing pleasure. Watch this raccoon video! There is apparently a whole series of them on Youtube by this "Raccoon Willie" character (or maybe about him...I don't know if RW is a human or raccoon!). The good thing about watching these videos on our blog instead of on Youtube is that you don't get sucked into reading the comments left by the vast population of Youtube morons. Watch the whole thing! You WON'T regret it.
Dont call it a comeback
Sheena and I both agreed that our blog is really only good for one thing - allowing us to consolidate funny videos in convenient location so that we can remember them and view them often. So - for that purpose I am going to post this HILARIOUS baby sloth video. I had never really thought about or seen baby sloths before, but I have seriously been missing out. Daniel didnt know what a sloth was (!!!) - and he says he still doesnt - so I searched and found this little treasure.

Sheena and Claudia Endorse John McCain for President
I just LOVE women! and I am so happy that John Mccain chose "hockey mom" and Tina Fey look-alike Sarah Palin as his runningmate this morning!! She is young, goodlooking, wears smart-looking glasses, and likes hunting! She knows how to shoot a gun! What more do you want?
Nothing - thats what.
Not only is she a stunner, as proven here by a photo from her beauty pageant days, but she also likes to name her kids things like "Piper" and "Bristol". This is different! This is change. Names you can believe in.
I know what you're thinking. She's too "pretty" to be a good politician. She's too high maintenance. "Sorry President Patibha Patil of India. I'm running a bit late for our meeting because I got held up at the salon." But you are wrong. It's not just glamor guns and pearls for this lady. Oh no. She knows how to mix with even the darkest, most sinister echelons of American society - the oft-forgotten world of RPGers and war reenactors (pictured below).
We here at the Sheena and Claugia blog are 100% on board with the Mccain/Palin ticket. We were undecided before because he seemed to be missing a certain "it" factor that appealed to us. But with Sarah's addition, they have everything I ever wanted in a political duo. Drilling in Alaska? check. Women? check. Youth? half check. Beauty? double check.
Ever since I first set eyes on Sarah this morning, I knew a Mccain Presidency was meant to be. Hold on tight America, because we are in for one exciting and glamorous ride.

Posting dedicated to Benjamin Michael Koverman
A very mean friend of mine, Benjamin Michael Koverman (pictured above in his Kmart swimwear photoshoot), has made the decision to accept a job that will take him away from me for the better part of the coming year, if not for the rest of our lives. Although I am mad, I am going to show how I am the better person by dedicating this America's Funniest Home Video's inspired post to him. You see, Ben is an unashamed admirer of the show and even cancels plans with friends so that he can be home on sunday evenings to view the show. I'd also like to shout out to Adam Keeling for alerting me to some of these incredible moments caught on film.

THis man is BLUE!!
So back to blogging some important news and things that interest me... Alison told me tonight about this man who turned blue and I didnt believe it. Staying true to my word to Scott, I have determined to research and blog about this particular man.
It took me a while to find him, but blue man does truly exist. His name is Paul Karason and he lives somewhere in Oregon. Apparently, when one ingests a great deal of colloidal silver, your skin begins to discolor and turn a silvery blue. And apparently it's pretty sad because you are then embarrassed to go out in public because, well, you look like real-life papa smurf. But the thing that makes me feel less sorry for Mr. Karason is the fact that he is also a liar. He claims that his change in skin color from white to BLUE was so gradual that he couldn't even notice!
All I can say about that is, yeaaaaaaah right.

Claudia = Sick as a dog in peru

claudia is sick in peru. spent last 48 hours in bed. was visited by doctor. hooked claudia up to an IV. Gave her a multitude of shots and pills. she is only now starting to feel better. condition may have caused her to permanently speak in 3rd person. not verified.

WHY NO COMMENTS Y'ALL????!!??!
Lemme just say puhlease to the "Claudia tyranny." Don't buy into her foolish delusions! Once she left for Peru there has been zero Claudia activity on this blog! Ok, one comment, but that's nothing!!
I want to tell you more things about my life, everyone. I have lost more than just my cell phone. I've lost my ability to find beauty and goodness in this world....actually I lost that a long time ago. Really, I lost my mom's cell phone (sucked into mysterious vortex before even arrived in India), lost my beautiful rainbow umbrella, aaannnddd I guess that's it. I almost never lose anything back home, but India makes you CARAZY!!!! Another thing is that when people here reverse their cars, often a MIDI tune will play for the duration of their reversing, which can take a lot of time because people drive extremely strangely here. The tune I hear most often outside my window is "My Heart Will Go On," but sometimes I hear that "be it ever so humble there's no place like home" song or "Jingle Bells." The guy with the titanic song reverses for SO LONG that the MIDI goes all the way through the first verse to the end of the chorus.
Ok you're all bored, but I don't care, this is my blog and I'll do as I please! However, when I have a faster internet connection I will upload some delightful videos for your enjoyment! For now, I leave you with this:

I'm in India Y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me tell you all a fantastical story! This story will have no accompanying pictures because I have taken ZERO pics while I've been here. What can I say, you go somewhere enough and it doesn't excite you anymore. But back to the story! It is about my phone. I took a long autorickshaw ride across town today to find some shop where I was going to informally interview the employees and maybe customers. Even after calling the store for directions, it could not be found. I was unhappy. I wandered the streets drinking Maaza mango drink and eating delicious Lay's American Cream and Onion potato chips. My god, those chips are so good. They are ridged like Ruffles, but are better than any Ruffles or Lay's in the USA. Well, I had failed in my mission for today and decided to retreat home. Instead of sitting in the middle of the autorickshaw seat, I chose to sit in one corner since the upholstery was all torn up and uncomfortable in the middle. This decision, coupled with my distracted interest in delicious potato chips, was my doom. During that 1/2 hour or so ride, my phone slipped quietly out of my pocket, never to be seen again.
Did I need to post this to the blog? No, but I'm angry and it's all I'm thinking about.

Sheena is in India and she is busy stepping in wet concrete and NOT UPDATING BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!
So you might be wondering: "What does that mean for Step Right Up - The Official Sheena and Claudia Blogspot"????
Well, I'll tell you what it means.
it means total unrestrained clAuDIa TyRAnNy* on the blog until Sheena decides to step herself back on up and show her dedication to this and, on a larger scale, her dedication to us. (* note: this reads "claudia tyranny" not "claudia tranny)
So the blogs during this period of time will have a decidedly Claudia slant. These takeover blogs, as I have termed them, will serve to alert you to things I have recently found to be very important and deserve your attention.

This little gem of a tv show stars Chris Lilley as three separate protagonists in an Australian high school. I will not dork on and on about what it is. You basically just need to watch it and then thank me later (in comment form, obvs). I crumpled the proverbial chips in my hand and am now blowing them in your face. It is up to you what you will do with them. Enjoy...

That lead singer from Bear Force One kind of reminds me of Ricky Gervais. And it especially reminds me of my favorite moment from The Office when they have charity day.
Bijal once had a boss in Atlanta that looked exactly like ricky gervais and when she took a picture on her cell phone i really couldn't tell the difference between the two.

we joined the grilled cheese club.
we bought a grab bag at the dollar store and got bubbles.

we visited the fishies at Qua.
we wore swimsuits.

scott was all like "aww shii gurl you brought your casio!!"
I was all like "aww come on let me do it!!"

then we hit up the rooster

BREAKING NEWS THAT WILL SHOCK THE WORLD!!
HELLO EVERYONE!

This is no lie. Some Italianos found an effed up 10 month old deer that has a horn growing out of its head, and HELLO!!!! That makes it a UNICORN!!!
According to the London Telegraph, other messed up deer have had horns that SORT OF KIND OF looked unicorn-ish, but this little one "has a uniquely central horn, thought to be the result of a genetic flaw."
What does that mean for you and me?? Well... not too much. I probably won't get to ever meet it, and even if I did I wouldnt be able to ride it because its not even a horse... Plus someone will probably try to make lots of money off it and ruin its childhood, crushing any hope of leading a normal life (not unlike a former baby animal star currently suffering from dementia in the Berlin Zoo. Read: Knut is a Psychopath)
For now, let us enjoy a glimpse of this real-life mythical creature.
You will notice it is not nearly as sci-fi and wonderful as my exclamation points might have led you to believe. But you take what you can.... ONE DAY I'll find you my horn-ed prince - the unicorn that roams freely through my dreams, whose glowing white mane pierces the night sky like lightning.

We sure are excited to get things going on here!! We plan to bring you the best of the best of all things in the world ever, especially things related to us or that affect us in some way. As more posts go up, you will get to know sheena and claudia in hopes of one day piecing together the full magic and mystery.
To get us started on the right foot, we are debuting a recent piece we recorded while together in austin over the past weekend. I can't stress enough how incredibly rare it is to find clips that feature BOTH sheena AND claudia together. Please treasure them. COMMENTS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!
